In 2010, a 14 member statewide commission will be selected to redraw the Statewide Assembly, Senate and Board of Equalization districts in 2011. Eligible CA registered voters have until February 12, 2010 to begin the application process.
At this time, very few women and people of color have applied. In order to have a diverse commission, women and people of color are encouraged to apply.
